Films that make people care.
Enrollment films for Catholic and independent schools. Impact stories and gala films for nonprofits. Made by someone who takes the mission as seriously as you do.
Real communities. No stock footage.
Principals, pastors, teachers, volunteers and kids — the people who make a place what it is, telling it in their own words.
I've been working with Make Your Name for about 15 years. I always feel like I'm working with the best in the industry when I work with Nick. I receive countless compliments on the promotional videos we produce, and making a video with Nick is so much fun that I look forward to the process as much as the finished product. Four films schools and nonprofits actually use.
Enrollment & admissions films
Show prospective families what a day at your school actually feels like — the bit a brochure can never quite manage.
Gala & fundraising films
Open the night, land the appeal, and give donors something to share the next morning.
Impact stories
The people you serve, in their own words. Donors remember faces, not statistics.
Social content
Vertical clips cut from the same shoot, captioned and ready for the parent Facebook group or the donor newsletter.
Simple, and not disruptive.
A proper conversation
Who needs to see this, and what do you need them to do afterwards? We work that out first — usually over coffee, occasionally over a very full principal's desk.
A shoot that doesn't take over
Small crew, worked around your timetable. Kids forget the camera is there within about ten minutes, which is exactly when it gets good.
An edit you'll actually use
A finished film plus short cut-downs for social, with a round of revisions built in and a clear brief so it lands first time.
Most school and nonprofit films land between $1,000 and $4,000, and I offer flexible pricing for nonprofits and community organisations. It's always worth asking.

How much does a school or nonprofit video cost?
Most land between $1,000 and $4,000 depending on shoot days and what you need delivered. Nonprofits and community organisations get flexible pricing — ask. The pricing guide has the detail.
How disruptive is filming at a school?
Not very. It's a small crew working around your schedule, usually over a day or two, and classes carry on as normal. That's rather the point — the film should show the school as it really is.
What about filming students?
We work from your school's media-consent list, and anyone without permission simply stays out of shot. You see the edit before anything is published.
Do you work with schools outside the Twin Cities?
Yes. I'm based in St. Michael and film across the Twin Cities and greater Minnesota.
Got a story worth telling?
Tell me about your school or organisation. No obligation — just a conversation about what you need and what it might cost.
